Stephanie Schmutz

Hello, my name is Stephanie Schmutz.  I’m in my 16th year of teaching.  I have always been known as Miz Schmutz.  I graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA in Communication Broadcasting.  I went back after my second child was born and obtained my Masters in Teaching degree from Gonzaga University and finished my art degree at the same time.  I have taught abroad and here in the archdiocese of Seattle.  I am so excited to be at ASB.  I grew up my entire life in Catholic education.  Catholic education was a must in our family as both of my parents attended private school their entire educational career.  In fact, my father was raised in Seattle and spent his entire grade school years at ASB.  He lived just down the road and told me recently that he was his 8th grade president.  I feel as though there is a special spirit at ASB that I have not experienced at other schools.  I am blessed to be part of the ASB team.  I am here to love and support all of my colleagues and most of ALL my students.  God Bless, Miz Schmutz
