Admissions Process & Information

Age Eligibility
Kindergarten
Children must be five-years-old on or before August 31st to apply for Kindergarten. All Kindergarten applicants will be screened using the Gesell Developmental Observation in January, which helps determine Kindergarten readiness and guide our staff in making grade-level recommendations. Admissions offers are based on our staff’s recommendations.
Enrollment Priority
- Current Families: Families with siblings already enrolled
- Parish Families: Registered and active parish families
- Out-of-Parish Catholic Families: Including families from other Catholic or Orthodox communities
- Non-Catholic Families
In cases where space is limited, available spots are divided equally between Assumption and St. Bridget parishes. Our pastor from these parishes will make the final determination, with priority given to families actively involved in parish life.
Enrollment Requirements
- Kindergarten Applicants: All incoming Kindergarten students are screened in January using the Gesell Developmental Observation, which identifies developmental age and Kindergarten readiness.
- 1st-8th Grade Applicants: Students applying for 1st through 8th grade will participate in a Shadow Day, during which they will experience a day at ASB and take part in a grade-level assessment.
