Steve Dougherty '85

Steve began his career at ASB in 1994. He holds a BA from Seattle University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Antioch University. Steve has taught PE, Technology, Science, Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Literature. The unique opportunity of working in a variety of roles has allowed him to get to know students at every point of their education and understand their development as human beings. Beginning in 2016, Steve became the K-8 Math Coach, along with continuing to teach Middle School Math and joining the Student Support Team. In 2017, he became Vice Principal of Academics, in addition to his continuing position as the K-8 Math Coach.
