Christina Dougherty
Christina Dougherty, the K-5 Learning Specialist at ASB since 2016, originally joined in 2008 as a 3rd grade teacher. After eight years teaching 2nd and 3rd grades, she transitioned to her current role, where she organizes pull-out reading support groups and provides push-in classroom assistance to enhance teacher differentiation. Christina holds a BA in English and an elementary teaching certificate from Western Washington University, a professional certification from Seattle University, and an Master's in Education with a Reading Endorsement from Antioch University. Trained in the Slingerland Approach, she values ASB's strong community that is dedicated to preparing students for the future.
