Mark Hastings '99

Mark is one of the third grade teachers at ASB. He has been at ASB since 2007, after graduating from the University of Washington. He started out as an aide in the 3A classroom before moving into the role of lead teacher in 3B. While working as an aide, Mark completed his Masters in Teaching at Seattle Pacific University. During his time at ASB, Mark has been trained in the Slingerland Method, completing both years one and two.  The students at ASB are what drive Mark in his teaching. He is always finding ways to connect to his students and build lasting relationships.
