Stephanie Schmutz
Miz Schmutz has been at ASB since the fall of 2020. She obtained both her BA and Master's Degree from Gonzaga University. Her husband, Steve, and her son, Houston, are also educators in the Archdiocese. While their children were young, Miz Schmutz and her husband taught in Aruba for two years, before returning to the Seattle area. She previously taught at St. George Parish School and St. Alphonsus Parish School.
Miz Schmutz' family has a long history with Catholic education. Miz Schmutz grew up attending Catholic schools in Ephrata and Spokane alongside her four siblings, and her parents are also graduates of Catholic schools. Her father actually attended ASB! Miz Schmutz loves that she is walking the same halls as her father did for nine years. She feels there is a special spirit here at ASB and feels blessed to be a part of the ASB team. She loves supporting her colleagues and her students.
