Rita Alway

Rita Alway is a lifelong musician and passionate music educator who believes deeply in the power of music to cultivate human connection, challenge students to reach their highest potential, and spread joy! A native of North Central Washington, Rita holds a Music Degree from Yale University and a degree in music education with Kodaly emphasis from Holy Names University. Teaching at ASB since 2024, her music classes include singing, music literacy and theory, movement, instruments, and studying music of all cultures.
