Theatre Ensemble

The ASB Theatre Ensemble is a vital part of the performing arts program. Our mission is to enhance the artistic and creative ability of all children through exploration of the theatre arts in an educational setting.  Parents and professional theatre artists team to provide high quality theatre for our students.  Our school's commitment to excellence and our community’s passion for the arts are demonstrated by the extraordinary level of our productions. This theatrical process is designed to not only give students an enjoyable and creative experience, but also to allow them to grow as artists and individuals. Through this process, they realize that they are a special part of creating the magic of theatre.

 

Performance Opportunities

ASB’s Theatre Ensemble is open to students in grades 6th - 8th (5th graders are invited to participate as part of the ensemble cast). Two annual drama productions are after-school activities. Audition and rehearsal schedules are advertised to students and in the Bulldog Bulletin. The Theatre Ensemble performs in theaters across Seattle, and provides an opportunity for students to get a taste for being on stage and crafting their art form.
